George Samuel Bowling, 89, husband of Loreida Walton Bowling, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Clark Regional Medical Center. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky, on July 28, 1930, to the late Fred and Minnie Carpenter Bowling. He was retired from Rockwell International after 42 years of service.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Dale Thomas Bowling, Kathy Martin and Brenda Bowling; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Owens; and several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rita K. Lucas; son, George Edward Bowling; siblings, Ted Bowling, Earl Bowling, Lois Kerestesy, James Bowling, Charles Bowling and Janet Fultz-Biblings.
Graveside services will be private at Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
