WELLFORD, SC - January 5 - Mrs. T. J. Aiken, 66, died at her home near Wellford this afternoon at 4:25 o'clock after an illness of six weeks.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, R. F. Aiken, Mulberry, Florida; C. E. Aiken, Wellford, Route 1; C. A. Aiken, Campobello; two daughters, Mrs. J. H. West, Campobello, Route 3; Mrs. W. P. Lambert, Wellford, Route 1; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Aiken was a member of the First Baptist Church of Duncan, from which funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by her pastor, the Rev. Edgar Johnson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Broadus West, Boyce Lee West, Hoy West, Thomas West, Olen West and Gilbert Lambert.
