Mrs. Jane Ross Armbruster, of Alton, formerly of Springfield, died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday in an Alton hospital, following an illness of several years.
Mrs. Armbruster was born in LaSalle and resided in Springfield until three years ago. In 1905 she married Ernest F. Armbruster, a Springfield jeweler at that time.
Surviving are three sons, Ross, of Alton; Donald, of Springfield and Alfred of Casablanca, Morocco; five grandchildren; a brother, and several sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Morrow Quinn mortuary, Alton, with Dr. Edgar J. Vancil officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today in Oak Ridge cemetery.
