A. B. Benham was born Nov. 15, 1854; died August 22, 1924. He was married to Margaret Fowler in 1875. To this union were born seven children, four of whom survive. They are Mrs. Henry Shrewsbury, Mrs. Albert Pack, Mrs. Reuben Thomas and Emmons Benham, of this place. His second wife was Rebecca Griffee. Besides his children he is survived by four brothers; P. M. Benham, J. G. Benham, J. C. Benham and J. E. Benham; two sisters; Mrs. E. T. Hiner of Louisvllle, Mrs. Josie Jenkins and one half-brother, J. T. Benham of Seymour, Texas. Funeral services were conducted at the New Brandenburg Baptist Church by Rev. Roy Mason, and at the grave by members of Harrison Lodge No. 122 F. & A. M.of which Mr. Benham was a member.
