Alvin Maurice "Bo" Cummings was born December 6, 1945 in Caruthersville. He was the son of Melvin Hershel Cummings and Robbie Jean Riggins Cummings. He departed this life in Cape Girardeau, MO on March 27. He was 74 years old.
On June 12, 1970 in Henderson, TN Bo was united in marriage to Trennia Swinney.
Bo was employed at Milwaukee Tool in Blytheville, AR as a supervisor for many years.
He loved going to the auction on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. He was known as 162!!. He also enjoyed flea markets and getting out riding around just doing some sightseeing. He loved sports and was known to place a bet on a game. He coaches a ladies softball team. He was a huge motivator and dreamer.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Trennia Cummings of Caruthersville, one son, Chris Cummings of Caruthersville, one step son, Michael Wicker of Alabama, one sister, Marie Revelle of Potois, MO, two brothers, Hershel Melvin "Butch" aCummings of Caruthersville, John Paul Cummings of Rogersville, AR, three grandchildren, Michael Bailey Cummings, Andrew Logan Cummings, Christian Abel Cummings, one great granddaughter, Graceland Elise Rogers, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Robbie Cummings, two sisters, Amy Dean and Mary Helen Tinnon, a brother, Jimmy Howard Cummings, a step son, Eddie Wicker and a very special aunt and uncle, Ed and Dollie Harrison.
Funeral services (Private) were held April 1 with Reverend Kenny Lee officiating. Interment was in Maple Cemetery.
