Ms. Elizabeth Brown affectionately known as "Nonkey" of Cordele, Georgia died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her residence.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a. m. in the sanctuary of the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 508 South Fourteenth Street, Cordele, Georgia.
The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
Ms. Elizabeth Brown, the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie C. Jordan, Sr. and the late Mrs. Beatrice Brown Clark was born on the 9th day of February, 1953 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia. She was affectionately known to her family and friends by the nickname, "Nonkey."
She was educated in the Crisp County Public School System. She loved to be in the midst of family and friends on different occasions. Nonkey enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, Gunsmoke, Bananza, and the Andy Griffith Show. Her lifetime career was a mother and housemaker.
Nonkey's journey of life came to a peaceful end on Sunday, January 27, 2013. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her lifetime companion, Mr. Arthur Lee Killings, Jr., and a good friend Mr. Walter Bell.
