Ada L. Sword, 89, of Narrows, Va., formerly of Vivian, died Tuesday morning in a Pearisburg, Va., hospital following a short illness. She was a daughter of the late William and Nancy Lawson and had been a resident of Narrows for the past 23 years. She was a member of the Houston Methodist Church at Kimballl.
Survivors include one brother, Henry B. Lawson of Narrows, and one sister, Mrs. G. W. Bonds of Max Meadows, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Houston Methodist Church burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Bluewell. Friends may call at the Bennett Funeral Home Chapel in Northfork today after 3 p.m.
