David M. Blair, a well known and highly esteemed citizen of Elk township, passed away Friday, December 10, 1926, at the home of his son David Blair, at Daletown, near Elk City, of infirmities to old age, aged 86 years, 3 months and 23 days.

The deceased Is survived by six sons and one daughter, namely: John, Jacob, Harry, David, William, Daniel, and Mrs. P. A. Cobbler; also, by 42 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.

The funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church, Shippenville on Monday, Dec. 13th, at 2 P. M., and interment was made in the church cemetery.
