Born July 16, 1939, in Peoria to Floyd and Dorothy Jones Reatherford, he married Betty Chapai on March 14, 1959, in Peoria. She died April 12, 1988, in Peoria.
He also was preceded in death by one son, Pete, and one brother.
Surviving are one daughter, Tammy Reatherford of Creve Coeur; two sons, Russell and Gary, both of Peoria; four sisters, Linda Brown, Donna Reatherford, Jeannie Reatherford and Annie Sanders, all of Peoria; and one brother, John of Peoria.
He worked at Butternut Bakery.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
