Mrs. Ulrich Beckey died at her home a few miles northeast of this city (Greenfield, IL.) on Saturday morning, January 10, after an illness of more than a year from diabetes. Her maiden name was Ella Quick. She was first married to a man named James Braden born 1851, died 30 Jan 1892 in Palmyra, IL. Four Children were born to James and Mary Ella Quick: James Milton, Charles Henry, John Allen and Ada Belle. Her second marriage was some fifteen years ago to Ulrich Beckey since which time she has made her home in this vicinity. She leaves four children by her first husband and three by the last union: William Ulrich, Jacob Paul and George Homer. She formerly was a resident of the Palmyra, IL vicinity, and was aged forty-eight years. Funeral services were conducted at the Rubicon Grange Hall on Sunday at 2 P.M., Rev. E.C. Campbell officiating. The interment was in the Drake-Million Cemetery.
