James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Malvina Duncan (May 6, 1935 - May 23, 2014) Malvina Duncan, 79, of Marianna, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 23, 2014, in Orlando, FL. Malvina was born in Marianna on May 6, 1935, to the late Thomas Berry and Omay Floyd. She followed her husband, Tony Duncan, who worked in the aircraft industry, to Georgia and California, where her three children were born, and where she worked for the California Department of Motor Vehicles before retiring with over 20 years of service. A good joke teller, a lover of gospel music, and not one to pass on a good game of cards, Malvina lived in Southern California until her return to Florida in 2013 to be close to family, which surrounded her as she passed to the ages. Malvina was preceded in death by her husband, Cleopole "Tony" Duncan of Marianna, her parents, three sisters, Lillian Davis, Merle Goodwin, and Maliree Green, and two brothers, Thomas Floyd and William J. Floyd. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Coleman of Long Beach, CA, and two sons, Randall Eugene Duncan and Michael Anthony Duncan of Geneva, FL, and her four grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members. She loved them all and they her. Funeral services will held in Marianna, FL, on Friday, May 30, at 2:00 p.m., at the James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Interment will follow in Sink Creek Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Marianna directing. Family will recieve friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
