Mrs. Adams died Sunday in a Lubbock hospital. She had been a resident of Dickens County since November, 1915.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Mrs. Ben Slaton, Spur; seven sisters, Mrs. Lela Harvey, Spur; Mrs. Gillie Heard and Mrs. Ollie Belle Cato, both of Lubbock; Mrs. Bob Spear, Brownfield; Mrs. M. Bethel, San Angelo; Mrs. R.D. Sims, Eunice, NM and Mrs. R.D. Stewart, Bradleyville, Iowa; five brothers, E.S. Slaton, Abilene; Gene Slaton, Afton; Wilmer Slaton, Lawton, OK, and Arnold Slaton, Spur; three grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Mutt Bostic, Horace Hyatt, Weldon Key, Martin Pope, Ola Miller, George Nally, Fred Arrington and Mac Steele. Interment was in Spur.
