Janet Louise McRoberts, 81, formerly of Lexington, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Janet was born in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Ira and Bertha Pitts Applegate. She had been an LPN since 1968 and retired from Homestead Nursing Home.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Eugene French McRoberts, one daughter, Karen Hawley Krumpe; and three siblings, Raymond Applegate, Gerna Applegate and Katherine Claypool.
She is survived by her children, Kathy (Thomas) Ayers, Connie (Billy) Holt, Geoffrey (Jimmie Sue) Poole, Patti (Wayne) McRoberts, and Carla (Mike) Gibson; one sister Margaret Sweet; 15 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Lexington.
