Born September 14, 1926, in High Point, she was a daughter of the late John Martin Butler and the late Pearl Mae Jones Butler. She was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her son, Micheal Campbell of Yorktown, Texas, and Terry Campbell of Hickory; daughters, Sandy Cannon and Ronda Hornsby both of High Point, Joy Fisher and Penny Hawk both of Denver; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Lester William Campbell; daughter, Ann Welch, grandson, Brian Campbell; two sisters, Lila Brown and Edith Hodgin.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Westside Cemetery in Yorktown, Texas.
