WILKINSON — Bernard "Bernie" Evitt, of rural Wilkinson, died Aug. 2, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He retired from Western Electric-AT&T-Lucent Technology as a machinist after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Kay A. Evitt; two sons, Edward Evitt and John (Debbie) Evitt; a daughter, Mary (Steve) Mosley; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Jean) Evitt; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenfield Church of Christ with Rev. Pat McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery in Greenfield at a later date.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
