My aunt

OAKLAND CITY - Ruby A. Bruner, 86, of Oakland City, Ind., died Friday,
September 5, 2003, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, Ind.

She was born on December 1, 1916, in Francisco, Ind., to Floyd and Mary
(Street) Caniff.

She was a member of Oakland City Senior Citizens, and had worked for several
years at the plastic plant. She retired as a cook from the East Gibson
School Corporation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Bruner, in 1951.

Surviving are two sons, Jared Bruner of Elberfeld, Ind., and Mark Bruner of
Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2003, at
Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery. The Rev.
Claude Atkins will officiate.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time
Monday at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be given in lieu of flowers to Montgomery
Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the chapel.
