Seymour Ague, a resident of Long Grove for the past 27 years, died at 2:30 o'clock this morning at his home. Mr. Ague's death was caused by the infirmities of old age. The deceased was born in Canton, Ohio, January 25, 1840, and was married to Miss Anne Young on July 3, 1865, who preceded him in death 16 years. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ray Eby of Maquoketa, and Mrs. Guy Mathias of Long Grove; one son, Cyrus Ague, Long Grove; one brother, Wilson, Osborne, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. H. Barrett, Cleveland, Illinois, Mrs. Frank Sterling, and Mrs. Henry Smith, both of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren. Two sisters of the deceased preceded him in death a number of years ago.The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Long Grove Christian Church with interment in the Long Grove Cemetery.
