Jeannette Jennings Bailey, 78 of Frankford, MO passed away at 6:46 AM Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, MO.

Friends and Family are invited to Jeannette’s Life Celebration at a graveside funeral service that will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Fairview Cemetery in Frankford, MO. Rev. Richard Epperson will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

The family is being served by the James O’Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal, MO.

Jeannette was born on August 1, 1941 in Frankford, MO to Ether Bert Jennings and Mary Ellen Rarden Jennings.

She was married to James Bailey on July 30, 1960 in Bowling Green, MO. He survives.

Also surviving are four children: Tammy England (Craig) of Clarksville, MO, Randall Bailey of Frankford, MO, Shelly Lewellen (John) of Lake Ozark, MO and Tracy Hill (Craig) of Aldie, Virginia; one brother, Delmar Jennings (Darlene) of Curryville, MO; four sisters: Margie Terry of Farber, MO, Lellia Ince of Bowling Green, MO, Earlene Walraven of Bowling Green, MO and Susie Taylor (Larry) of Hannibal, MO; nine grandchildren: Tiffany Meyer, Craig M. England II, Randall A. Bailey II, Derrick Bailey, Stormye Wommack, Kayla McCullough, Cole Griffin, Talia Nelson and Bailey Hill. Also surviving are several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Marion Jennings and Ether Jennings and one grandson, Dustin England.

Jeannette was a homemaker. She loved raising and caring for her family and helping on the family farm.

Jeannette enjoyed traveling with her husband, James, often taking impromptu road trips to the West Coast or even the Colorado mountains. A wonderful cook, Jeannette made the best fried chicken and the most delightful cranberry salad and delicious chicken and dumplings. Crossword puzzles, occasional visits to the boat to play video poker and old-time country music were a few of Jeannette’s favorites. Most of all however, she simply cherished the moments she was able to share with her family and friends.

Jeannette was a Christian by faith.
