Katie C. Michel, age 95, passed away Monday, February 24, 2019. She was born February 4, 1925 in Reeds Spring, MO to Rufus and Golda (St. Clair) Cummings.
She grew up in the Branson area where she attended high school. On February 11, 1943 she married the love of her life Gene Michel and they spent 40 years together before his passing in 1983. Katie worked in the cafeteria for Mustang Schools before she retired. She loved her family and her church. She was a long-time member of the Bridge Assembly of God in Mustang, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son: Jerry (2019), her parents and all seven siblings.
Katie is survived by her three children; Don Michel and wife Lovey, Rene' Smith and husband Gerald and Lori Varney and husband Robert, nine grandchildren; Gene, Robyn, Crystal, Kyle, Tyler, Elaine, Troy, Katie Rene' and Michael as well, as thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Friday, February 28, 2020 at The Bridge Assembly of God , Mustang, OK with burial to follow at Mustang Cemetery, Mustang, Oklahoma.
