Ethel Mae Tate, 91, wife of the late Jennings Bryan Tate, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born September 10, 1923 in Walnut Shade, Missouri to the late Rufus R. and Golda St. Clair Cummings. She was a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving relatives include three sons, Bryan (Sally) Tate, Barry (Nancy Scher) Tate and Benjamin Tate; three grandchildren, Kathrine Tate, Elizabeth Tate and Adrienne Gibson; three great grandchildren and a sister, Katie Michel. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Monday, July 13, 2015 at Kerr Brothers Harrodsburg Road. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
