Mrs. Catherine Elaine Bowman Draughn, age 77, of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. Draughn was born in Patrick County on January 4, 1943, to Perry and Mary Alice Harrell Bowman.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Draughn was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Draughn; sons, Roger Draughn, Kenneth Draughn, Ronald Draughn, and Wade Draughn; sisters, Edith Sawyers, Etta Stanley and Teresa Stanley and brothers, Joe Bill Bowman, Malcomb Bowman, Marvin Bowman and Glenn Bowman. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
