Alice Mitchell (nee' Tuite)
Passed away peacefully on February 13, 2008 at the age of 89. She was born and raised in Staten Island, NY, and moved to Redwood City, CA, in 1949.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Louise Fiorelli and by her former husband Harold Tuite.
She is survived by her beloved husband Jack Mitchell; her children Richard Tuite and Marilyn Tuite; her son-in-law David Messimore; and her grandchildren Jonathan Tuite, Dominic and Danielle Messimore.
She will be remembered for her kindness and devotion. She loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Friends may visit Monday, February 18, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and are invited to attend a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City and the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Red Cross 1710 Trousdale Drive, Burlingame, CA 94011 preferred.
