STIGALL, James B. of Seguin. Age 93. Died 2/6/1966 (Sunday) at his home. Graveside services held (Tuesday) at Locklin Cemetery. Rev. Larry Gilbert, pastor of First Baptist Church, Thorndale, officiated. Phillips & Luckey, Rockdale, in charge of arrangements.

James was BORN 8/27/1872 in Kentucky, the son of the late James J. & Susan Rixby [sic] Stigall. Moved to Texas in early youth. He was a former resident of the San Gabriel Comm. having moved away in 1936.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mrs. Thelma Robbins of Houston; 3 sons, Fred C. Stigall of Austin, Van Stigall of Wharton and Charles W. Stigall, Houston; 3 brothers, Charles C. Stigall of Seguin; Joe E. Stigall of Taylor; Will J. Stigall of Davilla; 2 sisters, Mrs. Eliza Surber of Bryan and Mrs. Gertrude Sharp of Waco; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
