James was BORN 8/27/1872 in Kentucky, the son of the late James J. & Susan Rixby [sic] Stigall. Moved to Texas in early youth. He was a former resident of the San Gabriel Comm. having moved away in 1936.

Stigall of Taylor; Will J. Stigall of Davilla; 2 sisters, Mrs. Eliza Surber of Bryan and Mrs. Gertrude Sharp of Waco; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
