J.C. Garrison who met with a serious accident Saturday afternoon, as stated in the Review, died in the city hospital at 6:12 Saturday evening not having regained consciousness. His children, Elizabeth and Charles were at the bedside at the time of his demise.

J.C. Garrison was born in Beaver county, Pa., March 1, 1830. In 1859 he came to Alliance and located at his late home on Keystone street. In 1868 he was married in Allegheny to Miss Anna McCrea. To this union were born the following children: Miss Elizabeth Garrison, Charles and R. Curtis, the latter residing in Cleveland. Mrs. Garrison died November 12, 1892. He is also survived by two brothers, S.T. Garrison of Cincinnati and W.B. Garrison of Eaton Rapids, Mich. He was a kind neighbor and was very highly esteemed by all who knew him.
