Clinton Carlisle "Clint" (T.E.) Boyd, a project officer for replacement of Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio and chief of Facilities Division of the Surgeon General of the U.S. Air Force, he was a native of Carlyle, Ill., and a resident of Baton Rouge. Clint died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 80. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., until religious service, conducted by his nephew, the Rev. John Slade. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

He is survived by his wife, Bess G. Boyd; daughter, Judy Wooten, of Dallas; sister, Ruth Dees, of Hollandale, Miss.; brother, Frank Boyd, of Brandon, Miss.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin Boyd and Esta Ola Bailey Boyd; and a brother, Ernest Boyd.

Pallbearers will be James Cox, Don "Bud" Connor, Dennis Edmon, Vincent Magliolo, Eugene Slade and Sam Duke.

He was a 50-year Sublime Degree of Master Mason in Pearl Lodge 23, F&AM, a member of the National Active & Retired Federal Employee Association and served as president for 17 years of the Woodland Ridge Homeowners Association Inc. He received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and in business administration from Mississippi State University.
