Melvina was only 48 years and 2 days old, when she died from injuries suffered when the Cyclone came thru the Murray Farm February 8, 1935. She was a housewife, married to John Peterson. Melvina was the daughter of George W Shepherd and Martha Hunter.
Melvina was laid to rest in Mount Zion on April 16th.
