Elisha ‘Lash’ Walls was first married to Elizabeth’Betsy’ Carnahan, daughter of Thomas Carnahan and Hannah Morrison. They had the following children:
Isabella 1831 - 1908, married John McAninch
Mary Ann 1833-1907, married Taylor Carnahan
Chester M. Walls 1835-1905, married Rebecca Randolph
Sarah J 1839-1921, married John Southworth, ? McDonald

Elizabeth died abt 1840 and it appears that Elisha abandoned the children. Isabella married John McAninch when she was 14 and raised her brother Chester. Sarah Jane was raised by Andrew and Margaret Sites.

Lash married second, Rebecca Davis and they had 10 children:
Nancy 1842-1901 married John Blair, John Clark
Caleb 1844-1855
William Davis 1844-1917 single
Anna Malinda 1847-1925 married Wm Benjamin Hincy
