Tack was a proud veteran of the United States Navy who specialized in underwater demolition during World War II. He was a long-time member of Georgetown Southern Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Tack loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing or hunting, and will be remembered for his ability to fix almost anything. He enjoyed sports and was a diehard Indiana Hoosier and Cincinnati Reds fan.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Rosanne Esarey; brothers, John, Bob and Dave Esarey; granddaughter, Kelly Mutchler; great grandson, Logan Evans.
Tack is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Colleen Esarey; daughter, Sue (Sam) McGill; son, Bill (Leslie) Esarey; son, Joe (Nikki) Esarey; grandchildren, Brucker, Lauren, Joe, Hannah, Elizabeth; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 10, 2020. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday with burial to follow at Orchard Knob Cemetery in Alton, Indiana.
