Dave was born on April 4, 1928 in Alton, IN, to the late Joseph C. and Rose Elizabeth Esarey. He was the Past President of the American Institute of Banking and retired from INB Bank after working for many years at Clark County State Bank in Jeffersonville. He was a member and Lifetime Deacon of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville where he served as treasurer for many years. He was a founding Director of Treyton Oak Towers in Louisville, Past Director of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, a member of the Jeffersonville Optimist Club, Past Board member and treasurer of Walnut Ridge Cemetery and served on the Clark County Chamber of Commerce. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
