Flora Morrison Harris
June 4, 1889 - April 16, 1964

LIBERTY - Mrs. Flora Morrison Harris, 74, widow of Oscar Furman Harris, died about 6pm Thursday at the home of a son, Wilbur Harris of Route 1, Liberty. She had been in declining health one year and serious two and a half weeks.

Daughter of the late Lew King Morrison and Sarah Salome Morgan Ducker Morrison, she was a native of Transylvania County, North Carolina. She lived in Easley before moving to Liberty about seven years ago. She was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cora E. Greer of Greenville; three sons, Wilbur Harris of Liberty, and Oscar and John W. Harris; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at Robinson Funeral Home in Easley at 3:30pm Saturday by Rev. James Hampton and Rev. Robert Wheeler. Burial will be in Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery near Liberty.

Pallbearers will be Wilbur Harris Jr., Furman Harris, Richard Gibson, Luther Morrison, J. P. Morrison and Alton McAbee.

Honorary escort will be the Men's Bible Class members of the Flat Rock Baptist Church and W. T. Edens, Bill Eanders, Dr. J. H. Jameson, Milford Sheriff, Leonard Sheriff, Alton Roper, D. L. Stewart and Charles Lee.

The body is at the mortuary. The family will receive friends there from 7 to 9pm Friday.
