Barbara J. Snedigar, 67, of Carmel, passed away January 1, 2019. She was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on June 12, 1951 to the late Melvin and Kathryn (Heim) Sickbert.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Kim Castleberry and Karen Snedigar; grandchildren, Amanda Lacey, Natalie Snedigar, Adam Castleberry, Devonn Brye, and Desmond Brye; great grandson, Ethan Snedigar; two sisters, Linda (George) Moffitt and Brenda (Phil) Yeater; nieces and nephews, Billy, Sam, and LeAnn.

Barb was a graduate of the Indiana School for the Deaf. She was retired from IMMI. She was a lifelong member of the Greater Indianapolis Deaf Club. Barb loved the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts, enjoyed trips to Holiday World and Ft. Myers, and was an avid bingo player.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 11 AM – 1 PM followed by a service at 1:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Rd., Carmel, IN 46032. Burial to follow at Carmel Cemetery.
