Ruby Mae Neel Fielding, 93, died Monday, January 13, 2020, in Caldwell, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Rev. James Cook, Abundant Life Tabernacle of Caldwell and Rev. Merlin Swan, First Pentecostal Church of Brenham officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.

Ruby was born on December 21, 1926, in Memphis, Texas, to Ernest H. and Martie Mae Neel. She married Precely Paul “Ick” Fielding on June 15, 1946, in Pampa, Texas. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Ick, a daughter, Rita Sue Fielding Goffinet, and her parents. She is survived by two sons: Jarrell “Jay” Fielding and wife, Donna, of Brenham, and Ralph Fielding of Brenham; five grandchildren: James and Rebecca Fielding Cook of Caldwell, Dwayne and Rachel Fielding Hunt of Saratoga, Garren and Jenna Fielding of Midland, Brandon and Kendall Fielding of Chappell Hill, and Brendon Fielding of Chappell Hill; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Cook of Caldwell; Katie, Madison, and Morgan Hunt of Saratoga; and Preston, Presley, and Peyton Fielding of Midland; one brother-in-law, Charles Dale Fielding of Venus, and two nephews: Earnest Neel and wife Debbie of Memphis, and Chester Neel and wife Sharon of Missouri.

Ruby was a life-long member of the United Pentecostal Church.

Pallbearers were Garren Fielding, Brandon Fielding, Brendon Fielding, Dylan Cook, Dwayne Hunt and Morgan Hunt.
