Born to Alice and Lawrence Myers, she married Bartlett Woodard Jr. March 5, 1947. They were happily married for 57 years. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Her parents, husband, and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Evelyn is survived by two brothers, Edward (Norma) Myers of Cayuga, Indiana and Larry (Nancy) Myers of Georgetown, Illinois; one son, Bart Woodard III and two daughters, Debbie (Reg) Martin and Mindy (Jim) Cornett all of Oakwood; granddaughters, Missy (Jeff) Welch of Oakwood, Amanda (Jeff) Chesnut of Cape Coral, Florida, Michele (Dustin) Blunier of Oakwood, Kimberly (Matt) Howie of Rossville, Alyssa Cornett (David Bullington) of Urbana; grandsons, Tim (Lilly) Wood of Mahomet and James (Caeley Looney) of Viera, Florida and great-grandchildren, Blayz Tapscott, Jeffrey Chesnut, Lily Chesnut, Brynnlee Chesnut, Kaden Lappin, Kacie Lappin, Kollin Schrader, Hadley Schrader, Alexander Howie, Laiken Howie, Camden Wood and Kinley Wood.
Evelyn enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time with family. She remained devoted to God throughout her life.
