ELIZABETH "BETTY" DEMPSTER, 86, formerly of Toll Gate Village, an employee in the linen department of Kent County Memorial Hospital for 26 years, retiring in 1972, died Wednesday at the Wayne County Care Center, Wooster, Ohio.
She was the wife of the late Robert S. Dempster.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late George and Agnes (Green) Hanson, she had lived in Warwick for many years, moving to Wooster in 1988.
She attended Quidnessett Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter and two grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Henry and Gilbert Hansen.
