Funeral services for Jacob J Aukofer, 707 W. Ionia st., who died early Wednesday at a local hospital following a brief
illness, will be held Friday at St Mary cathedral. Prayer services will be Thursday at the Lavey funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charles Murphy, Howard Kegle, Carl Heiler, Joseph Kutchey, Frank Hufnagel and Charles Hayes. Burial will be in St Joseph cemetery.
