Funeral Services for 85 year old Hazel R. Wadlington of Cadiz were Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 12 p.m. at King's Funeral Home with Bro. Robin Redd officiating. Burial followed in Cerulean Cemetery. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday at King's Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Justin Hite, JC Boren, Bryce Rogers, Mike Shelton, Dale Wyatt, and Daniel Murray. Honorary Pallbearers were Terry Helm, Kelly Akemon, Daniel Murray, Boyce Williams, Amber P'Pool and Tommy Redd. Music was provided by Clarissa King, Pianist.
Hazel Wadlington died Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Princeton, KY on August 25, 1932 to the late Edgar Thomas Redd and Lillian Mae Jones Redd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, RC Wadlington; three brothers, Milton Redd, Victor David Redd and Omar Thomas Redd; two sisters, Syble D. Redd Skinner and Myrtle Sue Curtis; grandson, Justin Reevis.
She was a Retired Waitress from Lake Barkley State Resort Park, a member of the Eastern Star and of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by a son, Will Wadlington, Cadiz, KY; daughter, Renee Wadlington, Springfield, MO; sister, Lois Mae Redd Bullock, Central City, KY; four grandchildren, Melony Murray (Daniel), Lebanon, MO, Amy Shaffer, Clarksville, TN, Brittney Wadlington, Owensboro, KY and Brooklynne Wadlington, Cadiz, KY; six great grandchildren, McKinsley Davis, Clarksville, TN, Cyrus Murray, Lebanon, MO, Ethan Murray, Lebanon, MO., Mason Stinnett, Owensboro, KY, Brantley Stinnett, Owensboro, KY and Zaiden Wadlington, Owensboro, KY; and one great great granddaughter, Kinsley Wadlington, Clarksville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
