After they made enough money in Colorado they came back home to Oklahoma and bought their home. There they raised their two sons, Bill and Glenn. Lewie worked at a small lumber yard in Claremore for 27 years. After that he and his son Glenn started working together remodeling many houses, building a few and acquiring rental properties. After about 20 years of that Lewie decided that he was ready to slow down and just take care of rental properties and his cows.

Lewie loved his family and was proud of all of them. He also loved people and never met a stranger. Lewie was liked and respected everywhere that he went. The values and ethics that he lived in his life will continue to make an impact on society for many years to come.
