Obituary:
Clifford William Catron, 75, of Dixon, Missouri, formerly of Hanford, passed away at his home on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009.

He was born December 15, 1933 in Hanford to Roy and Lucie [Lucy] (Poole) Catron. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bernard, Garland, and Clyde and a sister Nettie.

He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Anne Elizabeth (Maciel) Catron also formerly Hanford. They had three children: sons, Bill and wife Jennie, of Orangevale, Bob and wife Kelly of Dixon, Mo., and one daughter, Kimberly (Catron) Ellorin and husband Fred of Cutler. Cliff also has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren he dearly loved; grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Ryan and Connor and great-grandchildren, Michael Jr., Clarissa, Ronnie and Isabella. He has one brother, Homer and his wife Helen of Clovis, and many other relatives and friends who all miss him dearly.

Cliff was employed by Oliver Implements in Hanford and Oakland as a General Manger for 20 years and as a millwright master welder for 29 years with Sequoia Forrest Industries in Dinuba until his health forced him into retirement. He also worked at Wal-Mart in Visalia as a greeter for 2 years. He and his wife Anne moved to Dixon, Mo. 9 years ago.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the Calvary Cemetery in Hanford.
