MAX V. SWEARINGEN Max V. Swearingen, 48, of 5411 Woodson road, Raytown, died yesterday at Lakeside hospital. He was born in Mount Vernon, Mo., and lived in Raytown 12 years. Mr. Swearingen was an employee of the Fisher Body plant in Leeds. He was a member of United Auto Workers union local No. 93 and the Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist church, Mr. Swearingen was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Peggy Swearingen, and two daughters. Mrs. Kay Johnson and Miss Janet Swearingen, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Dora Swearingen, 7002 East Eighty- sixth; two brothers, Hal Swearingen, 7002 East Eighty-sixth, and Charles Swearingen, Hawthorne, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. John Bell, Enid. Okla., and Mrs. Vernon Rider, 12122 Mar-Bec Trail, Independence, and a grandchild. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday at the Hinton chapel, Raytown; burial in Floral Hills cemetery.
