Died Wednesday, March 26, 1986, at 4:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 74, a resident of Denham Springs and native of Buford, Ga. He was in the real estate business in Denham Springs. He was a deputy sheriff serving under Garner Robertson for two terms in Nashville, Tenn., a police department investigator, FBI investigator 20 years, and a Radnor Yard switch foreman at Nashville. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 1 to 8:30 p.m., with religious services at 7 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Dr. Joel Lucas. Religious services at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, Donelson, Tenn., at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial Sunday in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville. Survived by wife, Annie Ruth Forbes Disspayne, DenhamSprings; a daughter, Linda Gale Hanley, Hermitage, Tenn.; three sons, Robin L. Disspayne, Denham Springs, Christopher L. Disspayne, Louisville, Ky., and Billy W. Disspayne, Highlands, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Alma Morton and Mrs. Evelyn Lawson, both ofGatlinburg, Tenn., Mrs. Bernice Floyd, Augusta, Kans., Mrs. Willie Mae Yaklin, New Lothrop, Mich., and Mrs. Dorothy Crabtree, Los Angeles, Calif.; four brothers, Elmer W. Disspayne, Donelson, Roy Disspayne, Madison, Tenn., Tom Disspayne, Brighton, Mich.,and Edward Disspayne, San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, David Franklin Disspayne and Carrie Mattie Visti Emaline Lingerfelter Disspayne. Pallbearers will be Sheriff Odom Graves, Billy H. Davis, Delmas Forbes Sr., Thomas Sharp, Jerry Smith, Mayor Hoover, David Kerstein and Jim Maxwell. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Louisville, Miss. He was a member of the TIS football, basketball and baseball teams in Nashville.
