AUBURN, IL - Beverly J. Boyer-Ervin, 75, of Auburn passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 14, 1940, in Springfield, the daughter of J. Robert and Mary Lucille Studebaker MacMurdo.
Beverly married Donald Boyer in 1963, and he preceded her in death in 1979. She later married Wendell Ervin in 1986, and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, David Boyer in 1994.
She graduated from Auburn High School in 1958 and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Kay Moore, and Deanna Boyer both of Auburn; one stepson, Brian "Pete" (Connie) Ervin of Harrisburg, Ill.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (Bob) Burton, and Judy (Lee) Dodd both of Auburn; and one brother, John (Barb) MacMurdo of Harrison, Ohio.
Cremation rites were accorded. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of memorial services at Noon, Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church with the Rev. David VanBebber officiating. Burial will be at Auburn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn is in charge of arrangements.
