Services were held today for Samuel D, Arner, 79, of Palm Springs, who died Friday in Eisenhower Memorial Hospital. He was born in Pennsylvania. Arner had been a realtor for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Irene Arner; three sons, David Stewart of Fullerton, and John Stewart and Paul Stewart, both of Anaheim; a daughter, Joyce Fernandez of Palm Springs; a sister, Ruth Madden of Paradise, four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Wiefels and Son Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ramon Ramus of the Assembly of God Church of Cathedral City. Interment was private.
