Services for George W. Arner, 83, retired furniture salesman for May-Stern Co. who died yesterday, will be held in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2630 West Liberty Ave., at 7:30 p.m.
Additional services for Mr. Arner of 2216 Broadway Ave., will be held Sunday in Rimersburg, Pa., his hometown.
He was a member of the IOOF at Rimersburg and the Knights of Golden Eagle, Carrick.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth DeWalt Arner; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth M. Madend of San Rafael, Cal., and Mrs. Florence W. Hoerr of Pittsburgh; two sons, Samuel D. of Palm Springs, Cal., and Clifford L. of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Mrs. Ida C. Shearer of Callensburg, Pa."
