She was the sixth of seven children. She was raised on the family farm in Bow, N.H., and attended school in both Bow and Concord, N.H.

Ethel was a homemaker who loved to play cards, board games, enjoyed puzzles and painting pictures. She loved to attend church and sang on the choir. She lived a simplified life from an era past. She had great love and respect for God, his creations and all mankind.

Her greatest joy in life was time spent with family and friends. Ethel loved to travel and had many fond memories of traveling around this beautiful country with her family. One of her favorite places was the beach.

Among her many wonderful attributes was her magnificent smile, her big heart and her love for others and their happiness.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Morgan Saltmarsh; her sisters, Evelyn Hargreaves, Patricia Butler, Carolyn Bond; her brother-in-law, Walter Bond Sr.; and her stepdaughter, Cindy Leonard.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Norman Adams; four daughters and a son; a stepdaughter and a stepson; grandchildren.

Interment at Evans Cemetery, Bow, N.H.
