Howard Lensing, age 60, of Spillville, IA, died on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI.
Celebration of Howard's life will be from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Inwood Ballroom, 2763 Co. Rd. B16 Spillville, IA. At 5:00 p.m., there will be a short service at The Inwood. Dan Silhacek will begin by singing How Great Thou Art, followed by DJ Scholtes saying a welcome/prayer, followed by a message from Howard and then finishing with Dan Silhacek singing Amazing Grace.
Howard wanted no flowers/gifts, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 and make a donation in Howard’s name.
Howard is survived by his mother and step-father: Marian and Norbert Retterath, Calmar, IA. Son: Roman Lensing, Calmar, IA. Siblings: Wanda Cole, Spillville, IA; Marvin (LaDeane) Lensing, Cresco, IA; Joe Lensing, Spillville, IA; Ivan (Jacqueline) Lensing, Ft. Atkinson, IA; Irene (Dave) Novak, St. Charles, MN; Russell Lensing, Ridgeway, IA; Wanita (Bruce) Phillips, Calmar, IA; Ernie (Sherri) Lensing, Ft.
