Sisters Will Be Brides At Double Wedding
SANGER (Fresno Co.), Nov 7
Mr. and Mrs. John K. Lichti of Upland have announced the engagement of their daughters, Christine and Martha, to two Sanger men. The two sisters will be brides in a double wedding at the home of their parents at Upland.
Miss Christine Lichti will become the bride of Elmer C. Griffith, an employee at the Sanger postoffice. They will make their home on Fifth Street.
Miss Martha Lichti will become the bride of Clair Leininger. They will also make their home in Sanger.
Both of the Misses Lichti have been employed at the Sanger Sanitarium, of which another sister, Miss Elizabeth Lichti, is the manager.
Another sister is Mrs. Clyde Paul White, whose husband is pastor of the Sanger First Baptist Church. Mrs. White is a recent bride.

Obituaries: Christine Griffith.
Sanger--Chapel services for Christine Griffith were held at Wallin & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday.
Mrs. Griffith died Sunday, June 27. at the age of 91. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Marge Clark of Orinda; a brother, John Lichti of Paso Robles; four sisters, Maria White of Florida, Helen Anderson of Sanger, Anna Penner of Nebraska and Martha Leininger of Oregon.
