Chatsworth Plain Dealer: "On Tuesday, March 10 (1896)at 2:30 occurred the death of Mrs. Adline Bly Heald one of Chatsworth's oldest residents. Adline Bly was born in Chautauqua, NY Sept. 15, 1833 [note: The year is wrong. She was married in 1833]. She was united in marriage with John W. Heald who departed this life April 4, 1883. Mr. and Mrs. Heald were the parents of 10 children, 8 sons and 2 daughters, 7 sons and 1 daughter still surviving. Mrs. Heald had resided in this township for 27 years, having come here from Will Co., IL. For many years past she has made her home with her son Frank, in the north part of town, where she at her extreme age cared for and reared from infancy, to the best of her ability, 3 grandchildren who had been left motherless. She was a woman of kind disposition and tender heart, and sacrificed her own comfort for those she loved. Her career has been a varied one, but in spite of circumstances, she was always the same and her courage and will had carried her through where many a fainter heart would have lost hope. She is mourned, not only by those whose love she bore, but by those who admire the virtues of a noble woman. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon from the ME Church and the remains laid to their last rest in the Chatsworth Cemetery."
