Mrs. Bonifield, a member of First Baptist Church, was a member of the Metropolis Business Women's Club.
Survivors include a son, Larry Bonifield of Carterville; a sister, Gladys Houtf of Atlanta, three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Bonifield, and a sister. Her parents were Edward and Mary Proffitt.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis.
