LILLIE BELLE SHUEY, born January 2, 1931 passed away on November 29, 2019 in Whitesboro, Texas.
Lillie was born in Duncan Oklahoma to Frank and Mattie Chasteen. She was a diligent worker for Christ within the Assembly of God Church, Nazarene Church, and Grace Chapel. She held office as a Missionary president. Her primary work was the church and raising the children in a Christian home. She spent 6 years working outside the home as an electronic assembler. She went to her heavenly home on November 29, 2019.

Her hobbies were sewing, embroidering, knitting, and home making. And later in life word puzzle books.

She is preceded in death by her Father James Franklin and Mother Mattie May; her four brothers: Arnold, Thurman, Alvie and Charles Chasteen; and four sisters: Velma Fae, Zelma May, Lois Laverne and Melba Ruth.
Lillie was the shining star and Guiding Light to husband Robert D. Shuey Jr for 67 years and mother of four children. Two daughters: Gwendolyn June Kirk and husband John of Sherman TX; and Lauresa Ann Durham and husband John of Wooster OH; and two Sons: Robert Daniel Shuey III and wife Lisa of Albertville AL, and Gary Lynn Shuey and wife Karen of Oklahoma City, OK.

Lillie leaves behind a Legacy of love and guidance to nine grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Grandchildren include: Diane Littlejohn of Tuttle, OK; Kathy Vila of Sherman, TX; Ami Hammond and Lori Colon of Wooster, OH; Andy Henson of Alexandria, VA; Rachel Shuey of Moore OK; Ben Shuey, Faith Shuey and Abigail Shuey of Albertville, AL. Her extended family includes many nieces and nephews. In her Legacy she has an actual star in the heavens named for her (Lillie Belle) which will continue to shine down on her family.

A celebration of her life will be held at the American Funeral Home in Denison, TX on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Visitation will be at 2:00 with the service at 3:00.
