Martinez 'Music Master' Succumbs. MARTINEZ - Dec. 14.-Cremation at Oakland today will follow funeral rites for Prof. Walter B. Bartlett, who died Saturday after noon at the age of 93. The Rev. J. P. Trotter, Walnut Creek Episcopal pastor, will conduct the last rights at the Brunscher-Connolly Chapel at 11:30 o'clock. Bartlett, who had remained active as a vocal instructor and service club song leader into his 93rd year, came to this section more than 50 years ago. He is a member of the Martinez Kiwanis Club and Vallejo Lodge of Elks. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Margaret McMahon Bartlett. Oakland Tribune.
